A Magical Unicorn & Apple Birthday: Celebrating Augousta’s 5th Birthday in Fairy Style!

On August 10th, we celebrated my daughter Augousta’s 5th birthday in a truly magical way. The theme combined Unicorns and Red Apples — two of her favorite fairytale symbols — to create a dreamy picnic-style party at Gardiano Café, in the Municipal Garden of Larnaca.

The inspiration came from Augousta’s love for unicorns and my passion for adding fairytale touches to every celebration. I wanted this birthday to feel like stepping inside a storybook — full of colors, sparkles, laughter, and surprises.

The party was designed with whimsical details: from the invitations and table décor to the birthday cake, games, and even the children’s party favors. Everything carried the magic of unicorns and the sweetness of apples.

Μαγικά γενέθλια με Μονόκερο και Μήλο: Γιορτάζοντας τα 5α γενέθλια της Αυγούστα μας με στυλ νεράιδας!

Στις 10 Αυγούστου γιορτάσαμε τα 5α γενέθλια της μικρής μου Αυγούστας με έναν πραγματικά μαγικό τρόπο. Το θέμα συνδύαζε Μονόκερους και Κόκκινα Μήλα — δύο από τα αγαπημένα της παραμυθένια σύμβολα — δημιουργώντας ένα ονειρεμένο πάρτι πικνίκ στο Gardiano Café, μέσα στον Δημοτικό Κήπο της Λάρνακας.

Η έμπνευση ήρθε από την αγάπη της Αυγούστας για τους μονόκερους και από το δικό μου πάθος να δίνω παραμυθένιες πινελιές σε κάθε γιορτή. Ήθελα αυτά τα γενέθλια να μοιάζουν σαν να μπαίνουμε σε ένα παραμύθι — γεμάτο χρώματα, λάμψεις, γέλια και εκπλήξεις.

Το πάρτι σχεδιάστηκε με μαγικές λεπτομέρειες: από τις προσκλήσεις και τη διακόσμηση των τραπεζιών μέχρι την τούρτα, τα παιχνίδια και τα παιδικά δωράκια. Όλα έκρυβαν μέσα τους τη μαγεία των μονόκερων και τη γλυκύτητα των μήλων.

Everything from the decorations, the cake, the dress, the banner, and the magical little details came together beautifully to make Augousta’s 5th birthday unforgettable. The only thing missing was the custom fairytale reading I had prepared — but sometimes, the true magic is simply in the laughter, the joy, and the sparkling memories we create together.

This celebration was a reminder that with a little imagination (and a touch of unicorn sparkle + apple sweetness ), every birthday can feel like stepping into a real fairytale.
